An important part of the city’s history, the Excelsior has been a choice of quality since 1924. Brainchild of a family of hoteliers with a longstanding reputation for their commitment to excellence, the Excel­sior is partly a business, partly a labour of love. The interior resembles a Pari­sian building of the 1900s with a clas­sic marble staircase and an original vintage lift both adding smart overtones to modern stylistic touches.
